Moving home can be a daunting experience. We are here to
help you make moving home as easy as possible.
The Moving Process
Booking the Move - Assessment of Your Requirements
Contact
The Bicester Removal Company [TBRC] to
arrange for a consultant to visit and discuss all your
moving needs.
We will look at all your items to be moved and remind
you of garages, lofts, out buildings and garden
furniture etc.
The packing and handling of items will be described
and any specialist skills will be arranged eg
grandfather clocks, pianos, antique and fine arts, etc.
A written quotation will be send to you with an
acceptance form to sign and return.
A moving date can be provisionally booked, but does
need to be confirmed as soon as you know the date. A
fully booked move is when the date has been booked with
TBRC and the payment has been received in full.
The Moving Day
The Scheduling of the move will be discussed with TBRC
At the confirmed time the van will arrive, the team
leader will introduce himself and his team and walk you
through the move.
If you have paid for packing
TBRC will now wrap
and pack the contents of your home into boxes
appropriate for the items. For instance, clothing hangs
in wardrobe cartons, mirrors and pictures are wrapped in
special packing materials.
Everything will be loaded onto the back of the van and
secured.
Your home will be checked through before the movers take
the items to your new home, or to our secure storage
centre.
Once at your new destination, the movers will unload the
boxes and furniture into the rooms you specify.
The moving team will have worked hard during the day so
that you don't have to.
There are a few tasks which are your responsibility on
moving day, unless you have arranged for us to do these.
Dismantle self-assembly furniture, take down curtains,
fixtures and fittings. Take care of your plants. Wrap
them in newspaper to protect them from draughts and stop
the leaves from damage.
